Technado welcomed an old friend this week, CompTIA’s Chief Technology Evangelist Dr. James Stanger. He shared some more insights on the future of CompTIA certs, and warned cybersecurity pros against focussing on the ‘attack du jour.’ Wes Bryan and Ronnie Wong filled in for Don and Daniel, breaking down news like Microsoft Edge passing Firefox in usage, a new Microsoft Teams certification, New York City’s new cyberdefense center, a Kaspersky password manager flaw, and SEO poisoning targeting people with malware. Finally, they looked at some new tech that lets you generate a QR code to easily share your home WiFi info with guests.
